Welcome to the Shed Flips blog

If you’ve landed here, you probably already watched a video on the Shed Flips YouTube channel and thought, “I want to come back to that haul list later — is it written down somewhere?”

Now it is.

What this blog is

Hi — we’re Lonnie and Candice, and we buy stuff at garage sales, estate sales, auctions, and thrift stores, then sell it online (eBay, Mercari, Etsy, Poshmark — wherever it lands best). The YouTube channel is where we walk you through it on camera. This blog is the written companion: every post here ties back to a specific video, with the embed right at the top so you can:

  • Watch the haul the way it was filmed, or
  • Skim the write-up for the finds, the prices we paid, what sold, and what we’d do differently next time, or
  • Do both — keep the video playing while you scan the list.

Posts will lean toward the useful end: actual numbers, actual platforms, actual mistakes. The kind of detail that’s easier to read than rewind for.

What it isn’t

It’s not a replacement for the channel — that’s still where everything happens first, and the videos are the canonical record. Think of this as the place to come back to when you want to look something up: “what was that beer-tap-handle haul priced at?” or “which platform did that thing actually sell on?”

What’s coming

We’ll work backward through the catalog over time, posting written companions for the videos that have the most going on — strategy talks, big hauls, sold-stats wrap-ups. New videos will get a post around when they drop.

If you’re new, the easiest way to keep up is to subscribe on YouTube — the blog’s just a more permanent home for the same stories.

Come on in — welcome back to the shed.
